I want to thank everyone for the

and support. We buried Maya and plan to plant a tree to mark her resting place next spring. It was just such a strange way she died. The vet even did a necropsy and still couldn't figure out the exact cause of death except to note that it looked like a toxin or venom

I just wish I knew. Maybe next year we will adopt a new cat. But, I 'm not ready emotionally to rush out and get a new kitten or cat right now.
