Lost our favorite hen today

Our 2 year old Silkie hen ran for the leftovers when my wife threw them out.

Actually, all the chickens came running, but our little silkie decided to go for the 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes.

For some reason, she wasn't able to get them down and couldn't breathe.

We tried clearing things out, but it was too late.


Note to self: don't feed chickens mashed potatoes.
