Lost our first bird today

thanks you guys, it's nice to be amongst others who know what it's like to love a bird. I'm still kicking myself this morning, if I'd caught it sooner I probably could have helped her, I know it doesn't do me any good now, but I still feel terrible. I'll be paying closer attention to the rest of the flock from now on.

do you think it was egg binding or internal breakage? I'm completely new to poultry ailments so I really don't know, I was flying blind trying to find out what was wrong with her before she passed.
