I have half my run tarped till we can finish the permanent roof. Mine get a tad scared now and then, but if it starts raining they are happy to go under it lol. They may always Bea little leiry but eventually they should go on their own.

I'm sorry to hear the company was no help. I agree with @trumpeting_angel that contacting the distributor and BBB aren't over reactions given these homes are for living things and wetness is about the quickest way to 578 chicken ailments.

If you want to take some close up pictures of the gaps we can all try to come up with longer term solutions but you'll probably want to think about replacing it eventually.

In the mean time your tarp should help with leaks and they'll get used to the crackling sound.

I have a prefab and ended up with the same problem. I used weatherstripping on the slide out tray and the hinges door/window, and used silicone caulk on pretty much every exterior seam. Much better now. But I added ventilation as well and still think I may add more. For now they seem to be doing ok but it’s a little crowded. Waiting for my friend to get her coop set up so I can give her two of mine to right size the flock.
