Find an area your birds cant reach and put this safe poison out:
Swiss Miss chocolate mix and baking soda.
If you wanna get real serious use plaster of paris instead of baking soda. Either way it will kill your mice and if the birds were to eat the mice theyd be fine. Id imagine if you used plaster of paris theyd be too stiff to eat. If you dont have the chocolate mix just use flour but chocolate works better
