lots of people having problems with the LG bator.

Yes the knob is all the way down.

I would have thought the same thing (in fact I DID think the same thing)

Except... I bought a second LG and it did the exact same thing. If you think about it, it actually makes sense. These are engineered to be still air incubators. I can't think of a circumstance where you would want a still air incubator to be less than 105 at the very top of it.

And except... both incubators work perfectly when there is no fan in it.

The only real solution for those of us who have LG still airs that won't stay low enough with a fan is to get a different thermostat.

Actually i take back what i said befor.i am having a little bit of trouble keeping the temps right because the dial you twist for the right temp is very touchy opn mine.

I ended up putting my LG inside one of my bottom kitchen cabinets. That seems to have really helped keep the temperature stable. Of course, that also means I'm putting up with the cord stretched across the countertop, but I'm getting used to it.

You can buy an official fan kit for the 9200 and they most likely use the same thermostat for other low end models that are not still air so it doesn't make sense. Plus if it has to stay 105 or higher at the top then with tall eggs in a turner (they sell turners for larger eggs than chicken) the top of the eggs would be at too high of temp. Then there's the fact plenty of people have added fans to their 9200 without that problem so somewhere you have something going wrong.

I have a LG that regulates dead on. I bought a 2nd one last year at TSC and it would NOT regulate correctly. I took it back for an exchange and it (like my first one) is spot on! My guess is that they may have some quality control issues at LG.
