My special needs Easter egger is my loudest girl! She tells us about EVERYTHING and she's figured out that if she does a alarm call when she's in her room we will come check on her even though we only put her in there when we are eating, out of the house(atleast one person is home almost all day everyday pretty much), or when she let's me know she's ready for bed time(in the mornings she will alarm to wake us up lol)

She lives inside our house as she's never gotten along anytime we introduce her to other chickens no matter what we do, she complains when we bring her outside, and she can't compete because her disability she needs a special diet of crumbles and veggie smoothies

You forgot Silkies! I have several breeds and they’re definitely the loudest! Amazing how much noise can come out of those little creatures. They sound like small geese honking most of the time.

Noisiest rooster is our silkie but the silkie girls are quiet. Our loudest girl is a cochin/EE cross who loves to fly on top of the run's metal roof and lay her egg then announces it for the county. Lol

Red sexlinks! Mine used to complain loudly about everything all day long lol.
The quietest ones are the Bantam Cochins.

My Bantam Cochin hens are so noisy. My Silkies hens are my most quiet and calm

My loudmouth is a blue Australorp. The three other Australorps are sweet, quiet, and good citizens. My flock of ten seem to be very happy and good natured. It's just this one blue girl that is determined to let all the neighbors know she is alive and being held hostage in my yard.
