Love the little guineas. Are they skittish like mine? Mine run at the sound of wind. :barnie Not sure how that is going to work in my chicken yard. :/

Yup no type o!! And yes they are the most skittish things I've ever seen!!

What do you plan on doing with them? You're gonna let them out in your chicken yard? This last hatch will go out in the chicken yard. I hope they don't run away. :oops:

Yep. I'm going to keep them penned up with the chicks that I have now. I've sold my Golden Cuckoos & Speckled Sussex so they will have there own coop & run. Then I'm going to just let them do there own thing. Everybody I've talked to said if you keep them penned till their mature they will stick around, So I guess we'll see!!

How is it working with your older group??

So sad... The hubs went to take care of the turkeys when he got home yesterday and found 3 of the Narragansetts dead. Can't see anything wrong with them. I know they say turkeys are harder to raise but geez they were 6 & 8 weeks old! Keeping my fingers crossed that we don't lose anymore.
