I saw your male peacock fanning yesterday! He's the largest of the ones I hatched this past year - he's going to be a real beauty!

Cool and it won't be long now. There should be little bitty NHs at your place and I'll have me a screaming peacock to tell my neighbors Howdy doody every day multi-times I hope LOL plus they can enjoy their beauty as well hehehe.

My brother got to see my breeder NH male while down for the holiday visit and he was in awe at him, well really at all them BIG boys. He was a little more biased towards the NH male (though he is the most hansom of the boys, I might say) mostly because he hatched him out for me a couple of years ago then brought him(+4 others) to me so he feels as he contributed greatly to the project, which he should. If he'd had shipped me the eggs this boy maybe wouldn't have made the postal systems journey.

Ya know, i was checking out some of the coops for sale on different web sights. Are they out of there mind

!!! i build a 9 x6 coop with a 9 x 26 run for under 250.00 and holds 16 hen very comfortably. now keep in mind i am all about recycling but seriously 1500.00 for a coop that holds 3 or 4 at the most. what are they thinking

Exactly! I agree with you. Highway robbery. I would NEVER pay that much for a coop. Well, I would NEVER pay for a coop period. I recycle everything. I love getting used materials and making some out of it. Only way to go for me.

I wish I had that problem...ahhh if only I could convince dear hubby to move farther from the city. Oh well, guess I'm lucky we found our 4 acres here in BR. Everything here is sooo darn expensive!

I have shipped and received shipped eggs and Some POSTAL employees should quit their jobs, so other people who are willing to work and want jobs can have theirs! But we do not all have brothers like yours, to hand deliver their birds. LOL

My family want to know when I am going to put in central air and heat for the girls, my hubby thinks i have gone and lost my mind. I am always out with the girls. Always thinking of ways to improve the coop.

You sound like me, now! I insisted on running fans for the chickens and turkeys during the summer and if the rabbit barn had 'lectric, I'd have me an air conditioner in there, too!

I know it, its cool "ain't it". I have gotten some awesome birds that he has brought(hand delivered) to me over the past few years that more than likely would never ever been here for sure. There's sure none here(Louisiana) within a days driving distance with the exception of ChrisH. He's been doing just like me, collecting up. Maybe sooner rather than later I can get a handle on all this and start turning out some product from all this (chicken hoarding) I been doing for the past 4 years LOL
