We're have an epidimic of coyotes in my neighborhood right now. For several months they've been coming over the levy and small pets have come up missing. A friend of mine actually caught one trying to get his dog! Now they're running in packs. The news ran a story a few nights ago showing someone's home security video where 7 or 8 of them had a cat. It was horrible. I'm really surprised the news ran it. Turned out it was the next door neighbor's cat (next door to the one with security cams). I'm about 3 blocks off the river and there's a main road between them and me so I'm not really worried about them coming my way but I have several friends closer to the levy that are really scared.
