If you look close at the 2nd pic you can see a couple more buzzards down lower on the tree. There were 7-8 of them in all.

Nothing left of that possum except the tail.

I found the recipe on this site. Here ya go. I substituted the Crisco and I used Butter instead. I tried it with the Crisco a few months ago and it tasted like a Lard Pound Cake. You could taste all of that nasty Crisco shortening . So I changd up and used real butter instead. Taste soo much better.

I like to use half butter and half apple sauce in cakes an sweet breads. The butter or oil is to keep things moist. The apple sauce does the same with less fat. Pam

Thanks! That would have been my question...about the Crisco. I haven't used that in years and I can say that it might be the ONE thing I don't have in my pantry!!

You are welcome. That is the ONE thing that I haven't had or used in years and I foolishly went out and bought some JUST for this recipe.

Yes, I have a limit. I don't burn live animals or people. I DO burn trash, leaves, sticks, branches, ant piles, and other things laying around in the yard. My wish is to burn a car one day to see how quickly it will explode.

Do you watch duck commanders ? They've already done that.

Duck commanders is a family that makes duck calls. They are on a reality show on nat geographic channel . There out of Monroe La. They are really funny comes on wed. If you don't have the channel you might be able to see on the internet. They blew up a truck and a duck blind. It will make you laugh. Pam

Well, I just saw a news video where Florida has arrested almost 100 people in the normal fraud of selling stamps, and plan on arresting all those that got more than what was on their card for the shut down. Go Florida!!! I do hope they use common sense in the arrests. $5 over is acceptable in my book for calculating taxes and such but $500 is way overboard and they knew they were stealing.
