Horses and donkeys are two different types too= plow mules LOL hybrids is how.

I've got a dog questio:

My 1yr old male catahoula is shaking his head (ears) a lot right now. I'm thinking ear mites? Is there a "home remedy" so that I don't end up at the vets office? We'll go if needed, just hoping for an easy home remedy to avoid the expense.

Thanks

Sweet anise oil will work too, or you can use straight piperzine wormer just put a little inside the ear and massage it around do this a couple of days and it should rid them of the critters dont pour a big ol gulp down in the ear just a dab will do, not down the canal either that for the vet to do.

Thanks everyone for the help with catahoula's ears.

I just got an email from www.mypetchicken.com

Anyone heard of Rooster Booster? It's supposed to be a multi-wormer that allows you to continue to eat the eggs, as well as treat chronic respiratory...in short, it must be THE great "cure all".
Curious what you guys have heard or thoughts.

A mule is not a natural mating, they are forced breedings by man and do not do so naturally on their own, do they? yes hybrids and not capable of reproducing because they are sterile. 2 mules can not be bred to reproduce another mule.
From what I read, the 2 different types of fowl were supposed to have bred on their own. You think someone might have manipulated this cross, because my roosters will try to mate with anything, ducks, geese, turkeys, bags, rocks! LOL and I have never gotten a cross from any of them. It is certainly un-natural! AI in a test tube and implanted into a chicken could probably accomplish this, but if it happened on it's own, I don't know what to think? I know we are in the last generation in our flesh bodies, but is nature going nuts?

I'm not a geneticist by any means, but I think the animals have to be just close enough to cross. I know chickens and ducks cannot cross. They are too different. Did you know that some people actually believe that cabbits exist? (cat X rabbit)

When someone claimed that chickens X ducks can happen because cats X rabbits can happen I wanted to

I looked into it and there are actually a number of people that think so.

I had some more of my $13 organic free range chicken for lunch. Frankly, it tastes like…..drum roll….chicken. Doesn’t taste any different from the $4.50 chickens I get at Mac’s Meat Market, which come from a producer in Mississippi.
