"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Oooooooooooo. I'm not sure about that. That's a long time. So she has not eaten or drank water? How far away is her food and water from where she is setting?

Oh she is eating pellets and juicy watermelon.  Bright eyed for sure!  I'm about to go check again.  Maybe if I just set her out for a second she will poop and then sit again.

I gently lifted her out by the water, which is literally RIGHT THERE.  She drank a good bit and then turned around and got back in the box.  No poop.  I guess I will do the same this afternoon.  But I am glad she had more than watermelon juice.

She will probably be ok for now. I hope that she can drop a load soon.

She sounds like a good mommy to be.

Thanks, Pam. She is just not mentally stable bec her little flock died when they were a week old and she was alone for a few weeks, then I got the Black Stars that always teamed up against her. I thought I would never be able to put them in the same coop. Then I got the Amercaunas, but she doesn't like them. The problem is she just became a loner. They all free range fine together, a little peck here and there, but they can get away from each other. It's just the sleeping arrangement. Poor Primrose. She's always been my favorite even though she pecks me really hard sometimes and has to go in the coop if someone comes into the chicken yard.
Poor baby! I also have a couple of favorites. One is my blue Amercauna (Lou) she's also my "talker". The other is my Australorp (Tater). She's very quiet and good natured. My golden Polish (avatar -- Stinker --my son named

) is our "special" chicken that gets "feather cuts" so she can see and carried everywhere, because she's so "special".
