I might have found a routine that works with Horn Dog Harry. I have been keeping him in one of my stalls during the day and at night. In the afternoon, when I'm outside, I turn him loose with the hens. They are all able to roam together. This seems to be working. I keep a broom in easy grabbing distance for the kids to use if needed. Harry seems to be "learning" the routine and other than fussing at me, he's keeping a respectful distance. Any thoughts? Is there anything I'm missing? Is this too cruel for Harry to be living this way? His other option is freezer camp. When everyone goes into the coop for the night, I catch him and carry him back to the barn stall. He's getting easier to catch and carry.

The fire arm at the back door is also used for 2 legged creatures who chose to venture off onto the krazy chicken lady's property and who have psychotic/hallucinating thoughts that they are about to attack and harm a sweet little quiet well mannered girl like me
I"m ALWAYS ready.
