"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

So sorry for your loss Foreverlearning. We have some extra chicks for you if you like No charge. We are in North Louisiana

I was missing all week with the holidays. I am so sorry to hear this. I had a hawk out here on W. Hawthorne the other day. My dog alerted me to it and I was able to gather the girls quickly with his help into the hen house. I am afraid to let them out. I now think I will be leaving them in. I hope your other one is doing okay. It can be quite a shock. I am so sorry you lost your feathered friends.

PM them back an tell them to mind their own dammed business you've already been welcomed here previously if I recall right. I think the person bitching has less posts here then you do so far and you said it right if they don't want to read yours or anybody else's posts, block them its that simple.

Its for sure a hen party around here I tune in daily to get my estrogen fix but hey its an everbody thread we have had a few Texans, Missisipians a couple from Alabam pass thru, not too many of them frequent here much anymore but (can you blame them) it takes moxie to gather round the camp fire to hang around and bide with all this for a spell, you sound like you possess such though LOL

I can't believe someone would go off and say such myself they won't be here too long with an attitude like that someone here will check that for them this group of La-yers won't go for bad attitudes, well a few do get to hang loose here but they are "special ones" LOL

Oh by the way donkey's and chickens complement each other just fine the donkeys chew the grass up and deposit it out then the chickens come along behind them dispose of those piles(recycle 'em) by turning it into perfect compost and fertilizer for the gardens and you don't even have to deal with the hay/grass seeds (after-effects) then.

Jeff

Yeah, we say a lot of crazy things here, but not things like "you don't belong here" bec you 're in another state or related to ethnic background. I've never heard of anything like that here. Anyone doing that wouldn't last very long at all.

Joking and sarcasm is abound, and some no-harm-meant teasing if you set yourself real well for a joke or two. Those moments you have to just have a good laugh at yourself with the rest. I know I am hard pressed to pass up an opportunity when someone sets themselves up for a joke. Even my own momma. Especially my mother, actually.

Celie?! Are you out there? PM me if you see this I tried to find you but BYC is mad at my droid o think lol doh.

I have a few nice people asking me for breeder age New Zealand white trios and individual breeding age does. I was wondering if I can give them your number or forward them your ad?

I know you recently went through a bad experience and didn't know if you were available at this time and didn't want to just give out your phone number. There is a lot of interest in the bunnies we got from you and I am just starting out, can't provide what they want but getting them from the source (you) is even better! I thought...lol but I figured I'd betta ask first!

For those gluten-free: the January 2014 issue of Bon Appetit has several great sounding gluten-free recipes, as well as making your own nut flours. They also have a section on nut "milks". It's a great issue...even has stuff on farm raised chickens and grass fed beef. The library usually has copies of this magazine too.

I'll post the gluten-free pasta link again: www.bonappetit.com/gfpastas

REALLY a neat issue.
