"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I strongly believe we have the right to protect our flocks and animals. Harris Hawks is the worst hawk in my opinion. They hunt in groups, not just one lone hawk. The person I used to get my raw ghost milk from lost a kid to a Great Horned Owl. When I move I will be losing some predators and getting more. Passive protecting is best. Predators that have good numbers such as possums, and skunks do not hesitate to lower the numbers. Individual problem predators SSS sound really good. I have a big soft spot for all bobcats and links..... I get over soft spots fast........ :gig That goes for killer dogs and domestic cats.......... Those I wish I could SSS the owners that let their dogs run free or just dump them. :hide

{My late husband managed his grandfather ranch in Montana, he brought in donkeys. There was a big problem with prairie dogs, rabbits an other rodents. The man they had hired to manage the ranch spent as much as they made on killing off the coyotes. Coyotes came back, rodents population went down and the donkeys kept the coyotes away from the calf s (cow - calf operation) and the population in check. Individual coyotes that did not do their job and did not have manors and donkeys didn't get, was shoot on sight. The poisoning this guy did also whipped out black footed ferret, hawks, eagles, and so on.}.

I suggest calling her and leaving a voice mail saying that you were worried and just wanted to make sure she was ok. I highly doubt if she will answer her phone given what has happened but she may pop online to let us know she is ok. Here's to hoping she traveled for the holidays and had a chance for some peace.

I have literally thousands of pics in my phone of my creatures and products lol I LOVE sharing them and passing along the addiction lol

Theyre so Frickin cute! Lol

I bought a big bag of black oil sunflower seeds. How do I feed it to the girls?? Do they break open the shells?? Do I just treat it like scratch?? How much can they have?? Some of you mentioned it was good for them, especially when molting.

I feed mine the seeds, shell and all. If I'm doing it wrong, I don't mind being corrected, but they eat them like that happily.
