"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Exactly! I agree. With all the fast food, high sugary drinks, honey buns, candy (kids getting rotten and decayed teeth) and all of the other crap that they sell and people eat and eat and eat until they are obese, you would think they would allow us to buy raw milk so that we can intake HEALTHY milk.

It's immoral what they sell and advertise to our kids. Total junk. My mom accused me of not being frugal (fighting words) bec I buy whole foods and not Walmart brand. I read the ingredients. I look for whole foods and organic foods.

I have a question can anybody please help i have a polish hen i have a silver laced polish hen that keeps jumping out of her pin and gone lay her eggs in my shed she has quiet a few eggs but my question is does anybody think shes gonna go broody or should i pick her eggs and put them in the incebator she lays her eggs and then she leaves

She leaves and i dont never see her broody and at night she jumps back in the pin with the other ones and sleep their all night what should i do pick her eggs and put them in the incebator or wait a little while and see if she goes broody please help

If she was broody then she'd be sat tight on those eggs and give you a nasty stink eye and good chicken cussing if you tried to take them. Chickens like to lay in the same place if they can. She's laying them there just because she wants to. I'd gather them up and incubate them myself if I were you if they are fertile and you are wanting chicks. We are about to get hit with another freeze again in two days so if you leave them then the eggs will just freeze. If you want you can get some fake ceramic eggs to leave there if you want something left there to help encourage her to get the notion but a hen can go broody with no eggs sometimes if they get in the mood for it.

Never thought is see the day where marijuiana is legalized but not raw milk?!
What a crazy world we live in. As for me, I chose to "feed" my body and not just fill the tummy with cheap non-food food items. That's one of the reasons I'm looking forward to really good eggs!

Correct me if I am wrong, if I remember right what I was told, a hen will lay about 9 to ? Eggs, not set on them, until she feels it is enough. Then she will start incubating them, so they will hatch at one time. I seem to vaguely remember asking somebody the question. It is just setting in the back of my head. Anything about animals seems to just pop up when I need it. I have often surprised people including my self with stuff I just know and I do not remember being taught. This also extends to survival skills. This often sends me to research most of the time I am partly right, or incomplete. Ever so often I am wrong and it is an old wives tall.

I have told people I have a Spirt Kin that whispers in my ears when I need to know something. There have been moments I have wondered if it is true.
