"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

The only alpacas I have seen for sale have been quite pricey! I have heard that they usually have some at the exotic sale in Huntsville Texas. It is a bit of a drive, but it may be worth it. Here is a link to their website. They have a number on there that you can call if you are looking for something specific.

Oh THANK YOU!!!!!!! I will check it out. I kinda thought that I would have to drive a bit to purchase some and that's ok. It will be worth the trip. Thanks for the link Gracie9205. I hope that I can find some.

I hope your crystal ball see's our hatches going much better next year! I was really looking forward to trading with you! My husband says that I shouldn't be so disappointed since it was only my first year hatching geese. I guess he's right! I'm ready to see all the babies feathered out to see what I got from this year.

What if just by chance, a box full of duckies fell from the sky into your back yard? lol

Mine said the same thing... 1 TSC visit.. I now have 8 ducks.. and some eggs on the way..

There you go! I was supposed to only have a few chickens for eggs..., Now, I have a few breeds of chickens, pheasants, geese, and with my new incubator babies are pouring out each week.

I wish a box of assorted turkeys , peacocks , geese , and ducks would fall in my backyard , but I don't think my wife would really believe me ,if I told her how lucky I must be, that the heavens opened up ,and our backyard was the drop zone of the day .

You can drop 4 or 5 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes just any old time . I get down that way occasionally to buy Modena pigeons . Last trip was to Abbeville about a month ago . Gee if a half dozen geese showed up that would be awesome . I would just say to my wife

Believe me, I was sure disappointed. You did much better on your first year than I did on my second year. I was so disgusted with my incubators! Also, I really thought that my geese would be laying eggs until the end of May but they sure fooled me when they quit laying before the end of April. I thought I had more time to hatch myself some goslings. Next year, I plan to keep all of my eggs to hatch.

I will be praying over that crystal ball for next year!

I'm already thinking that since my hatches are going so well in my new cabinet incubator that I may need another incubator for Christmas to be sure that I'm ready for goose eggs next spring.
