LaMike, Here is the image of the buff saddleback. She comes from the same breeder that I bought my first sebbies from and later hatched my buff saddleback (avatar). Although, I think I misunderstood that your buff would be smooth breasted because she sure looks curly breasted to me. Also, her feathers on her back appear to be very faded. I would expect that her back feathers would be darker after a moult. My buff is going through her moult and she has some feathers that actually look chocolate colored.

I hope your crystal ball see's our hatches going much better next year! I was really looking forward to trading with you! My husband says that I shouldn't be so disappointed since it was only my first year hatching geese. I guess he's right! I'm ready to see all the babies feathered out to see what I got from this year.

Believe me, I was sure disappointed. You did much better on your first year than I did on my second year. I was so disgusted with my incubators! Also, I really thought that my geese would be laying eggs until the end of May but they sure fooled me when they quit laying before the end of April. I thought I had more time to hatch myself some goslings. Next year, I plan to keep all of my eggs to hatch.

I will be praying over that crystal ball for next year!

I'm already thinking that since my hatches are going so well in my new cabinet incubator that I may need another incubator for Christmas to be sure that I'm ready for goose eggs next spring.

I have been looking for a decent used incubator, but if I don't find one before the end of the year then I will be ordering myself a Dickey incubator!

Ooh that would be awesome! Thanks!

Made a phone call to my wife , he is her ex . She said he has 2 metal ones and 2 that are styrofoam . Not knowing anything about them , I don't know which is best . She is going to call him this evening when he gets in from work . Will keep you informed as to what we find out . She did say the metal ones were an older type , again I don't know if that is good or bad .

I have been looking for a couple of months now, and the only stuff I have been finding seems to be junk! People just don't take care of their things anymore. I'm hoping to find something decent, but I am coming to terms with the fact that I may just end up having to buy new.

I don't know what shape these are in , but if you are still interested , I will let you know , what condition and all . My wife when she was married to him used them . She could look at them and tell more about them than me . They haven't been used for several years for sure , so that may have hurt the shape they are in . I have a two-fold purpose , I raise pigeons also and one of the breeds I have are not the best parents , when mom pops out the eggs I am going straight to the incubator with them . They are not the best at sitting and feeding . Unlike some of the others I have. This will be a new adventure to incubate chick and pigeon eggs .
