"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Good morning all. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I have a lot to catch up on.

My vent for the day. If I come across one more person that thinks they should pay $5.00 for an animal or FREE, I will scream. :barnie

That is all.

Have a good day all !! :frow

Bunnies?? So sweet!
My 2 younger kids are getting bunnies from their godparents for easter...i love them but last time we had one it was spoiled and we all loved it and it died of unknown causes. Lots of tears!
Pam - my husband had looked online somewhere and it said value was $30-40 dollars.

Put it in a baggie and label what it is worth today's date. Put it up for your grandkids later.

Hope everyone faired well through last night's storms

Wretched weather last night. Somehow my storeroom door came open and I'm sure the humidity went through the roof. So this morning another one of my puny Delawares is dead and another is chirping loud. Then quiet. I looked for her and found her on her side almost dead. Brought her in the house and bathed her in warm water and blow dried her. Then I put her in a secluded part of the brooder with some feather dusters. Went back an hour later and all are up and eating. I put some more nutridrench in their water just in case. I bought them at Meyer's and 3 out of 7 of the dels are dead and still could lose her. Golden comets and White rocks are doing great. Reminds me of the Silkies from TSC

Anyone know about, or have an opinion about kids (8 and 12) playing lacrosse? I think my boys are going to go try a practice or two this week. I need to educate myself QUICK!!!

Anyone that lives in the Lafayette that would like to donate eggs, etc. to St. Joseph's Diner, they are looking for donations to help feed the homeless.

http://catholicservice.org/PageDisplay.asp?p1=2956

Three months ago, St. Joseph Diner began serving breakfast to people who are homeless in Acadiana, many of whom are Veterans. Last week we served more than 80 individuals in one day, this is in addition to the meals provided to the 50+ residents in our housing programs. We believe that improving someone’s diet, improves their health which in turn improves their well-being and outlook on life. As we continue to grow and meet this need we are asking for your help in reaching out to our brothers and sisters. Can you help us with providing a nutritious start to their day?

Here is a link to their current needs.

The diner accepts donations 7 days/week from 6:30am-12:30pm and 2:30-5:30pm.
We are located at 613 W. Simcoe (on the corner of St. John and Simcoe).

If you are not able to drop it off, let me know and I can get it from you and drop it off when I go.

Thanks
