Warning: Salesman trying to trade meat for pills

The Better Business Bureau of Acadiana is warning residents to be on the lookout for a local door-to-door meat salesman soliciting his product for prescription drugs.

One resident said after the salesman tried to sell her meat at a local apartment, he first asked if she worked for a law enforcement agency then offered her the product of her choice as a trade for prescription drugs she might have in her home.

It is illegal for anyone to obtain prescription medication not prescribed to them by a physician.

The salesman allegedly stopped at an apartment for the disabled and elderly and possibly was looking to take advantage of a situation where prescription medications would be readily available.

The complainant, who helps manage the apartments, immediately told the salesman to leave then called the company and police.

So little mama did good. Now what to do with her/them? It's cold, wet, and she won't go in coop, others would mess with babies anyway...? So far, I turned a plastic box on its side, put a towel in a 3 sided cardboard box, and forced her in then put it under our porch steps... So hopefully!!!

Everyone has been busy today, I see! New babies...chicks dying...and the always present - can I haggle you into giving me that because I am entitled!! Haha
I just moved my chick crew into an enormous cardboard box because if what my daughter refers to as 'gang wars' and 'gang violence' going on in the brooder!
And i left work to get some painting done while the rain is off the radar!
