Finished making this shark hat after my girls were in bed, tonight. I know it isn't chicken related, but I really wanted to show it off and I couldn't put it on social networks since it is a surprise for one of my friends. She loves shark week! You can't tell in the pictures, but the yarn is sparkly and glittery!

we have a lot of peeps in your area. Join in the fun. Tell us about your birds.
that brings me up to ten girls now. They seem to be integrated pretty well with only minimal chasing going on....mainly feeding time. What I noticed last night though, and treated for right away was one of them had horrible scaly leg mites. I waited till dark and grabbed her off the roost, washed her legs as gently as possibly, dried them, rubbed them with vet rx (I had it on hand and it said it could be used for scaly leg), and them rubbed her legs down with petroleum jelly and put her back on the roost. Does this mean I need to treat all the girls now? Do I need to do the whole process or can I get away with just the vet rx or petroleum jelly? Any thoughts? She has been here for three nights now.
