"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

It looks like I'm going to be busy. The eggs that I thought were killed by power outage last month, I cracked them open and only 1 partial start. The rest were scrambled. I just said to myself, I'm not ordering from him again. Packaging was terrible. I ordered a doz SG Dorkings being shipped on the 23rd. Yesterday I thought about it and I sent a message to this guy and explained the scrambled eggs. I told him (nicely, of course) to research better packing methods. . I didn't expect to hear from him but he sent me a PM saying " Here's your tracking # and I'm shipping Monday." So ....... Let's see. 14 5 mo olds (1 is a crippled male) 13 are 7 week old, and 10 are 3 week old. Where in the heck am I going to put all these? Chicken Math He//.

I love the eggs! Congrats on your 1st! yay! :cd

We do sell rabbits. We sell breeders and meat.
Have 47 right now :gig sold 18 this weekend. :) we were supposed to slaughter 6 today and didn't make enough time, got rained out which caused other things to attend too :th but I have a vacation coming this week and should have time :)

I'm at www.southernpastures.net if you need bunnies. :) only breed one kind tho!
Those eggs look fabulous! My original girls (21wks this tues) have not started yet. They have been squatting and their combs & wattles are as red as can be, so I'm sure it's any day now......right?.....:hu some one posted on a forum that they thought wyandottes were later than normal. Figures. Are your plans to sell the rabbits? For breeding or as meat?

You should mark a clutch and remove new ones and start a calendar watch I'd think if she has 8-9 I'd think she'd love to try :)
One of my Delawares has gone broody. She has been sitting for about 4-5 days now though I don't know how many eggs she has up under her because I collect my eggs daily. and if you try to go near her she sometime pecks at you or makes this noise like she is possessed by the devil him self. OR she puffs her self out so I leave her alone. She does all of this with the other chickens too. So now I have a question.

Is she still in the laying a clutch of eggs stage or is she actually on the 21 day incubation stage?

Are my chickens short a few screws? It is HEAVILY pouring down rain here and my chickens are standing out in the middle of it. Is this bad for them?

No they will be okay! I have chickens that love the rain. They get absolutely soaked every time. As long as it isn't freezing, they are okay
