"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Check out the website, they had several feeds. The process are not listed though unless you have a customer number which I'm in the process of getting. But that will at least tell you if they have something you want to use. :)

There is only one brand that is GMO free. It doesn't state if it is whole grain, soy,and corn free. Now as for dog food their are a few products I use that I would happy to buy the case. Will you be getting it from Texas or pontchatula? The latter is close to me. Pam

I had to research the brand independently to find out the ingredients in the feed. Texas natural was the only one I know of that was gmo free and soy free. But your girls didn't like it. I live in bush so I'll be getting it from the one here. :)
I'll let you know when I'm ready to order. Probably in the next couple weeks.

I love blue eggs!! The pic doesn't show true but it's blue. Riicrow let me know I can help you meet you quota with the dog food products if they are cheaper than what I buy them for. Pam

Is this the time of year chickens will molt? I have one chicken, who's normally boss hog, missing a chunk of feathers on the back of her neck. They were al over in the coop. Just trying to figure out if it is molt or feather picking!

Yes, everyone I'd dealing with it!

I haven't noticed any molting, but we're still working through fowl pox.

I've got two who have stopped eating. The pullet has wet and dry pox, but not as bad as other birds. She's acting like she has coccidiosis, so I put corid in her water. She's eating a little on her own, and drinking, but not enough. The hen... just quit on me, I guess. She won't eat or drink, doesn't have wet pox and barely has dry pox. I've been feeding her with a syringe because I can't figure out where to get supplies to tube feed her.

It's always the favorite, isn't it? :(

I have one out of my whole bunch with a bald saddle/back area, i sprayed her with blue lotion a few days ago, i noticed today some new feathers coming back, she is only 7 months old, and is the only one out of about 30 layers her age, some others are showing some sign, but not nearly like her.

Welcome! I'm just over the lake from you in Bush. I have a good mix of 20 hens and 2 roosters plus 20 ducks (pekin, appleyards, Anconas and Cayugas).
