"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Ive been learing about carponizing for a bigger freezer camp, is there anyone around here(baton rouge greater area these days) who does it? I can and will even travel a little bit for good instruction

No problem Melissa. Just thought I'd point it out in case you didn't know about it. Looks to be very informative, I've read some of it. Caponizing is something I don't think I'm capable of doing.

Don't sweat the typo's I do the same and have no excuse. lol! Well I was in a bad wreck and had brain injury. I could blam that lmao. All my breeds are rare most close to extinct. I have a couple heritage that aren't rare. They are breeder quilts not from hatchery. Pam.

Thanks Cody! I think i have that one though, and im sure you tube and i can figure it out. Although im young, i realize that there isnt a subsitute for a human instructor, and this is a delicate practice, that could mean a big difference around here.

I want to learn myself but don't know of anyone who does it. Figured when I process my meat birds I'll try after they are gone and can't feel pain. Pam

Pam,
Its really awesome to be meeting people with some of the same ideas! I had decided that since they say to carponize at 6 wks that this go round with my fryers i will try it, but im just really critical of myself and i want to be as efficent and painless as possible.
