"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I hear you loud & clear on that! They are unique for sure--I like their curiosity & they are affectionate in their own way, & I love the sounds they make, & they are growing more beautiful all the time.

I only wish I'd had gotten an India Blue male, I still think they have the most beautiful tail "eye" feathers-altho I know Romeo (my silver pied) is going to be striking when he gets his full train. D'artagnan -- IDK, time will tell I guess, I still don't see what all the big fuss about Buford Bronze is - he still looks kind of dull to me.

I can't wait until my little fellas get their full train. I still have another 2 years to wait.

And he already has a bit of a train.Well, not so much now...I been picking up feathers like crazy...but you know what I mean.I think he's about 2 or so.

Well guys, we almost had chicken for dinner tonight. Had I been just a little bit faster, believe me…. we would have.

Sooooo, with that said, any of you interested in a nice looking EE Roo? As a mater of fact it’s the one in my Avatar! You can have him if you want him just come and get him. The sooner the better. If none of you are interested, I guess I’ll plan on bringing his little azz to the feed store this Saturday and putting him up for sale over there. He is about 6 months old and I just got him from a guy in Independence about a month ago. He is scared to death of me but this afternoon while my two year old was throwing feed on the ground for the hens he felt it necessary to jump up on her twice. My foot missed him by less than an inch and had it not he would have been the first chicken that I owned that would have found his way to my dinner plate.

In all seriousness I want him gone so let me know if you want him.

Chris

I'm siding with Julie on the LS..Boo issue because hubby is a Texas Aggie, and I have loyalty to the Ragin Cajuns, and the McNeese Cowboys.

Also, will take up for Julie on the Silkies as they just don't look like chickens. They look more like an alien parrots. I believe that they've been misclassified.

I'm still moving!

It's amazing the amount of stuff that can be put into a house. And, I thought that I had done a good job putting things in storage. This will be my 3rd weekend moving boxes and furniture. I hope to finish this weekend.

Mike, your geese are doing fine. The geese I got from Gracie are shaping up to be some very nice birds. When I first got them I didn't realize quite how young they were and thought that they were rather small. I realize now that they were small because they were very young. They have grown to be some very nice looking geese. (Gracie, I love the two females!!

) Mike, let me know when you'll be back this way.

I envy you nada when it comes to moving . We lived in Joyce for 5 years and looked here in Olla for 2 years to buy because my wife is from here . We closed on Christmas Eve and were
moving Christmas Day and had to be out by the 31st or pay another months rent , plus all the pre-moving arrangements one makes .We spent the night in our new home New Years Day .
Talk about wore out . It was my wife , daughter , son , and son -in-law , plus my crippled self and my angelic wife that I love dearly . All the people that said , oh yeah I'll help , we didn't ask anyone , they just volunteered , but were all no shows . Told Kathy that was it , I would die before I moved again ! Bless you . You had a month we had like 5 days and like to have never gotten the people out so we could move in .

He's handsome. Sounds like a covert operation in the making. I have a camouflage outfit.

You need one of those guns that shoots webbing out . That will take Mr.Supervisor down a notch or two .
