Did you order your bees or buy locally? I've been looking into starting with a top bar hive. It doesn't produce as much honey as the traditional Langstroth hives, but it doesn't require near the equipment needed to harvest the honey. I was looking at this one on ebay.Just got the bees yesterday! So far so good...they seem happy buzzing by lol and they stayed! Not much work involved, thought it'd bee* harder O.O

Most of the puppies seem to be doing well, but the little runt is just so tiny. I tried to bottle feed him yesterday, and he took a little bit of it. This morning he seemed really weak and wanted nothing to do with it. I gave him back to mom and am hoping for the best. Mom is taking very good care of them!
I didn't like the puppy setup I started with, so I went home and made a larger whelping box out of the extra cedar boards I had left over from my fence. It came out really well, and Milla seems to really like the extra room. I may be a little biased, but I think she looks really good for just delivering 10 puppies!
