"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

:/ I wondered if he was going to be racing again. Thanks for letting me know. :thumbsup I think I have a few dollars in my pocket and I will stop by Evangeline Downs and place my bet on Mr. Borel's name. ;) I too would love to see him bring it home again . I was so proud of him the first time. I will be routing for him.:)
Yes, I will be rooting for him, too! He will be riding the Louisiana Derby winner - Revolutionary. That would be so awesome to have them win!

Yes it would. I have been reading about the female jockey. She seems to be good as well.

So, I'm not a murderer after all. My little situation when I fell asleep one night while waiting on the goose eggs to cool and left the goose eggs out of the incubator for 7 hours didn't go bad after all. 3 of the 6 eggs have hatched and I saw 1 more zipping. If only 3 hatch, then I am happy and couldn't have asked for any more. I think I'm done hatching goose eggs. It's too time consuming and too much work.

Pea eggs are next and will practice with something easy (chicken eggs).
YEAH!! BABY GOOSES!!

I wish you LUCK with the pea eggs!

Revolutionary is one awesome looking horse! think the combination of him & Borel makes him my pick for sure!
I've been watching the Derby since 1966 (Kuai King won that year) & have only missed 2-3 derbies in all that time.

Thank you. I only have 2 pea eggs so far. :/

The other day I mentioned to you about putting a funnel upsidedown on your waterer and feeder to keep the chickens from pooping in them. On the same thread someone just rolled a piece of heavy paper into a funnel and taped to the waterer and feeder and it worked just as well. Cost $0. Thought it might help. I have three more weeks of school, but a lot of it the kids are on field trips and partial days...so we are close.

Thanks! I'll try that.

You mean you actually found a way OUT of addicted to chicken mode?!?!? How much medication and therapy did that take?

Glad to see you're back to normal.

For a while i was content with my flock. Now I have colored flock fever.

Finally back up and running. Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Our hard drive failed and I have spent the last few days talking to HP guys in India and partially rebuilding the computer. But I do that stuff for fun anyway and it died just inside the warranty so its free.

I'm homeschooled and found out that I'm out for summer (

) a few days ago. Thought I had to take a big EOC test but apparently homeschoolers are exempt in Louisiana. So I'll be heading off to Inglewood to work soon. Speaking of which...

Got to help at one of Terri's chicken classes. It was awesome, but it got me back into "addicted to chickens" mode. Can't stop looking at breeds. Lol.
Thank you for helping me out John! Your comments and insights were invaluble and made the class that much more enjoyable!

You get a look at my new lavendars and you are going to be REALLY wanting some color in your flock!

They looked amazing. Add me to egg list for when they start producing.

Got mom to say we could fence off small pens inside our big one for the good stock.
