"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Black australorp, ameraucana s, buff sexlinks are the breeds. I had ameracuna 's in my last flock and they always went up in the coop. I bought a silver lace Wyandottes today at the swap.

Good morning La-yers! nice looking birds Cadjien!
I spent the weekend putting two coats of primer on my bathroom walls. It's amazing how one little room can get bigger -and bigger-aannnddd bigger!

the longer I painted, the more it grew! I had NO idea there were so many nooks and crannies and corners there! Now I have to go buy the actual paint for completing the project tomorrow, along w/new knobs and pulls.

Up to THREE pea eggs now!

Here's a pic of my Cinco de Mayo rosebush; just love it -- the blooms change color as they develop. Have a good Monday everybody!

I got 8chicks about 4 weeks ago . I have a coop with a 4x8 run under the coop. Here' the thing, the little buggers won't go back up in the coop at night. I have to place them up the every evening. What in the world is going on here. The last time I had chickens , this was not a problem up they'd go every Time. These little chicks have not figured out they need to go up at night. They spent 2 weeks in the laundry room then out to the coop. Do any of you out there had this happen before thank s
We run into this issue every time we move birds from the brooders to the grow out pens. What age are your chicks now? Usually after a week of putting them up every evening they learn what to do.
