I got a "different" kinda call today about pea eggs. This guy called and asked if I had some pea eggs and I told him that I didn't. I explained that the girls should NOT be laying eggs but they still are. I told him that I had collected about 6 eggs that I put in the incubator on Friday. The next question was what shocked me. He asked could he buy the eggs that were in the incubator. I was like, "HUH?"
I told him that I wasn't comfortable selling the eggs in the incubator because I wasn't even sure if the eggs were fertile being as though the boys have lost their tails and breeding and laying season should have BEEN over at my house. I told him I didn't want to rip him off and take his money because that would not be honest and I have a reputation to maintain and I don't do business like that. I told him that if any peas hatch, that I would call him. Poor fella. He really wanted some eggs. I felt sorry for him.
