"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

There were lots of posts here when I got home today. I had gotten the mail out of the box, which included the Southern Living Magazine........in which was this drawing, and question and answer also. How funny is that considering the conversation here!!
Oh that is too funny. Thank you for posting this. :)

On Facebook, there is a forum called "Remembering Ann Reese".  It is a tragic story, and Remembering Ann Reese has become a way for her mother to find peace.  The family is moving today and Amy and her husband must find the strength to pack their daughter's room.  I apologize if my next request offends someone, it is not my intent, but if you guys could say a prayer (or even offer a kind thought) for her family.  I cannot even imagine their pain.
Thanks,
Laurie

Hey. I read the Facebook page and that is so sad. May I ask what happened to Ann Reese? She was BEAUTIFUL. I was so sad as I read the posts and looked at the pictures. :hugs

I'm NOT offended. Count me in.

Good morning peeps.

I am so sad to report a very good friend of mine is dead. For the last 5 years, I have had a frog that would visit me every summer and spring and would camp out at my front door. He would usually show up around 7:30 PM and would leave out first thing in the morning. I'm not sure where he would go during the day but he always came back at night. He would leave for the winter and would always return when the weather began to warm up. Well last night, I left out to run an errand and returned home. This morning when I walked to my truck, I noticed that he was dead. I RAN OVER HIM AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He must have been sitting behind my tires when I left out and I ran over him. I didn't know he was there!!! He NEVER has camped out by my tire!!!!!!

I was so hurt this morning when I saw him all smashed up. I am so upset at myself. I cried like a baby when I saw him.

My day is ruined. For 5 years he came and left and came back to my front door. He survived all of this time just to go and get run over by me!!!

I know it sounds silly to cry over a frog but I saw this frog for 5 years!!! It will not be the same when I don't see him by the door anymore.

Aw, I'm sorry. I don't think its silly at all. I would hate it if something happened to that toad at my in-laws down the road. He's lived in the front yard for 8 years and kicked the butts of 3 dogs that wanted to eat him over the years.

Thank you. 8 years? WOW!! That's a longtime. If you can, take a pic of him and post it. I would love to see Mr. Toad. So, he kicked their butts huh? :gig

I hope another frog comes to visit me and decides to stay. :/

http://blog.al.com/live/2013/01/the_loss_of_life_and_the_joy_o.html I hope this link works. Her story is heartbreaking. On December 24, 2012, Amy's birthday (Ann Reese's mother) there was a birthday party celebrating Amy's birthday full of family and friends. At the party, a swingset with kids on it fell on Ann Reese while she was walking by, pushing her doll stroller. Ann Reese was 2yrs old. Her birthday would have been January 18th.

In case anyone needs some chicks. :hide I'm thinking about getting some straight run chicks for $0.95 and put all roosters in the freezer. :hide Can someone please slap me and tell me NO! :hide
