I know it I was just posting the recipe up in case some wanted another good looking chicken dish. I reckon its good sound good on paper/or in a bowl. I can't recall ever having any bad chicken 'n dumplings, some were better than others but all have been palatable. I know I won't hear the end of all that for a spell I'm sure. :tongue how long is the guinea egg incubation term? 21-28 days :caf :barnie LOL Jeff
Guinea eggs are 28 days. I usually put guinea eggs in with my turkey eggs and pea eggs since all of them are 28 days.

Does any one know of someone with bees? We kept bee pre Katrina . Our hive was flooded and the bees swarmed out. We had just bought the super so we wouldn't have to rob the honey by hand . Doing everything by hand was hard work. Now we're ready to get bees again . It would be nice to find some that have swarmed where their unwanted I could get free bees and someone could get rid of them for free. The added plus of honey is no canning and honey doesn't go bad.

I'll post pics tomorrow of my raised beds. It was dark when I came back home. Plus tomorrow I only have to make out payroll then I'm off. P.

I know people but I don't think they are selling or giving them away. I buy local raw honey in my area and it is delicious. Has helped me tremendously with allergies.

Anyone near lake Charles area want a male great Pyrenees? She can meet in bueax bridge also...
I can't get to him. He's 10 months old, great shape...go pick him up! He wants to be your new buddy!

Tried finding owner, no luck :( he won't last 3 days at a shelter.

HEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:welcome

Glad to have you. Tell us about your chickens and other animals.

You will have so much fun on this thread. Don't be shy. We all have issues and are nuttier than a fruit cake but we are all on meds to control that. Just joking :gig

I currently have 4 Dominquers, 2 Golden-Laced Wyandotte, and 4 Silver-Laced Wyandotte. When I was a little girl my daddy raised all kinds of fowl. I am new to this. Currently they are around 12 weeks. I am having trouble with the run we made. We built it and then built a nesting area and a shelter attached to it, but it sits on the ground and it is hard to keep it clean. I worry about disease. Any ideas? Also, I would love to have them free-range, but am afraid I won't be able to corral them back up :)

Nice to meet you. Oh BTW they are all pullets.
