"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I'll go over there and look and see what I come up with. Having a self sustaining breed sounds good but for me, that would be a nightmare with the already gazillion birds that I have. I th ink the quick 8 - 10 week process would work better for me. Now I"m getting scared. Did I just order 100 broilers??????????????? :hu :hide :idunno What on earth have I done? :hit HELP ME PLEASE !!!! :hit
:yuckyuck :lau Too funny !!!!!!!!! Yet, so true. :lau

So what you're saying is that there is no wine that can help what I am about to get myself into?

I think for that enterprise you'd better look into making a still!

I doubt if they send any estras with 100. I will take a pic. I plan on counting them by putting 20 birds in the GAZILLION kiddie pools that I bought for $0.80 at the Dollar General Store. ( I knew those pools would come in handy.). I will have them in the garage for a week or so in the kiddie pools and them will transition them out to their chicken tractor. I"m trying to decide if I want to put sand bedding in the pools or something else. I'm not sure. I will surely take lost of pics. You all will get tired of me posting pics. I really want to document daily their feed consumption, water consumption, weights, etc. I know I won't be able to weigh all of them but I want to get a test group and band their legs and track weights and behaviors. I really want to see how much money I will spend on organic feed at the end of the process to see if it was worth getting so many. And if any die, then they will be gumbo or stew for that weekend.
Whatever you use just make sure you have alot to change it out often, as what goes in, must come out. 100 broilers will eat you out of house and home and fill it up with PEW PEW

OK no surprise here - definitely a STRONG Southern accent!

What American accent do you have?

Your Result: Philadelphia 87% :idunno

Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington. if you've ever journeyed to some far off place where people don't know that Philly has an accent, someone may have thought you talked a little weird even though they didn't have a clue what accent it was they heard.

Sounds like it will be sand. I'm not looking forward to the PEW PEW. Looks like I will be having buckets of fertilizer.

I read somewhere that sand didn't work for broilers bec of the MASSIVE amt of poop. You know I'm NO expert, but maybe research that before you haul sand. Just want to help.

I took this one.

Apparently since I'm not a clubbing, binge drinking alcoholic that loses my head over Mardi Gras, I'm not from Louisiana.

I seriously doubt the person that made that one is from Louisiana, or else they would understand that unlike the "Louisiana" from T.V. , our state consists of more than stereotyped New Orleans.

Thanks for the heads up. I guess I better do some research on bedding.
