I just break them open & put them out there -- they go crazy for pumpkin!Gutting some carving pumpkins, do I just feed seeds and innards raw on a treat tray or do I have to prepare it in anyway?

BTW, if you buy 9 lbs of onions because they were on sale.........and you decide to prep the all and press them ALL through the chopper then vac seal them for the freezer. It helps to have a fan and an exhaust fan, open doors and windows, two kids (who kept taking "breaks" to run to the door for a breather) and paper towel to dab your eyes. Wow! That was crazy! But we made it!!! LOL!
I have free ranging, random breeding rainbow colored back yard chickens, aka mutts, aka easter eggers, that lay mostly large to extra large eggs that are green, blue, teal, light to chocolate brown and very few white eggs! LOL makes for a pretty egg arrangement, but none lay true to breed. I started with all heavy duel purpose birds, that were specific breeds, but you know chicken math and at one time there were over 400! I have pretty egg laying mutts. LOL The broody in the rabbit barn, had her last 3 chicks with her today! 27 chicks to fill orders for young egg laying pullets and roos for the chef in April.I have a question! I would like to know what breed of chickens everyone is raising? EVERYONE IN LOUISIANA. I have EEs, Wheaten and Blue Wheaten Ameraucana, and I have Wheaten and Gold Duckwing Sulmtalers ordered for mid November. Thanks Eric
