"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

It was so nice to have started the week a day late! I love short work weeks :)

All 9 of the baby fuzzy butts look good this morning

The kids have named 2 so far, "Penguin" and "Cupcake".........funny!

Penguin peeking over the edge right after getting fluffed. The whitest of the bunch and so adorable! I so hope its a hen!

Ahhhhh....can't wait to show the kids when they get home from school.

I think It's like 2 miles away! But I'm working til 3pm saturday downtown Ug! Anyone know how late it goes? I'd hate to miss one in my neighborhood!
The judging starts with the first show at 9am the 2nd set of Judges will get started I'm guessing around lunch or just after. I'm also guessing that we will be there until about 4:30 - 5:00 before everyone starts leaving.

I think I heard that we are now at 460 birds entered! I think we are going to end up with just shy of 600 birds entered before it's all said and done!!!

I live in Bush. Built a really big deck a couple years back for a couple that lives off Turnpike Road: Nice area.

BTW....Chris is correct, we now have 460 birds entered for the Baton Rouge Show! Whoot!
I do love this area. It's the "best of both worlds"...country, but still close enough to "town" to get places quickly.
I'm headed up to your area Thursday. School field trip up to a pumpkin patch in Angie. Well, they say Angie, but it's between Franklinton and Bush. About 90 second graders!!! It will be an interesting day...
