Seems like most of the state is going to get something icky! This is my strawberry/herb bed about 90min ago before we covered it. I attached the plastic to the side of the house above the dryer vent. Some clean laundry and hopefully everything will survive this snow.

Last Thanks giving there was talk about the gravy boat being to small. So I made a bigger gravy boat! It was only used once. Take note: be careful what you want......... You just may get it. :p :)

They say it will reach above freezing by afternoon tomorrow but I doubt if it will all melt away because it is sticking to the ground right now. I have a heat lamp in the coop for the sudden drop and my spoiled girls are all huddled under it, even the ones that don't normally like each other. Try not to get on the roads if you can help it, there are enough drivers that can't handle good days much less snow.

Jim's from Wisconsin & I've spent enough time up there - no problem in this - it'll be gone by noon tomorrow - I think I got a couple of nice pics & hope I can get out early tomorrow & get some along the bayou before it all melts. Guess I'd better get to bed - good night!
 
Good snowy morning peeps. This is what it looks like at my place. It's snowing in Opelousas. They are advising to stay off of the road. Supposed to be 70% chance of rain. I'm worried about the animals. How is everyone else doing this morning?

It's beautiful! slept until 8 & been outside in my jammies taking pics -- all of my animals are just fine - hens won't come out of the coop. Carmen put one foot out & let out a SQUAWK! WHAT IS THIS?! I laughed so hard -- they are snugged up in there eating their fool heads off. Sounds like a plan to me; think I'll go rustle up some bacon & eggs...the whole city is shut down here so this is a free day off with pay! and a 3 day weekend -- I am blessed & going to take advantage of every minute of it -- have to get dressed & down to the bayou to take some more pics.
