"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

So #2 is...7 3/4 weeks? Fraternaaaaal :bun
Chickenbelle has BBS and Wheaten Ameraucanas. I have some hatching eggs I'm hatching for the Easter-hatch-a-long from her.

Well I haven't been too active on her the last short bit mainly because of how sick I have been getting. That and the hormones. I got an ultrasound today and my ONE baby is at about 7 1/2 weeks development.

Hope you and your ONE baby feel better soon! Those hormones are no joke!

I checked them out once bec I was interested in having a couple. I smelled something strong and not good. The farmer said the females didn't smell. I buried my face in the back of the female. No ordor. I looked at the billy and didn't have to bury my face to know the ordor was from the billy. The farmer said the bully's pee their legs to attract the females. JS
They billy's will pee on their bellies & beard when a Doe is in heat. I have not smelled it yet but my chance is coming real soon.

Happy Wednesday chicken folks!

I did something yesterday that is not the norm for me. I asked someone for something on a trash pile at their curb

I had spotted these the day before, but I wasn't going to just stand in front of their house and pull them out of their brush pile. Yesterday I saw the guy out mowing and he was happy to put them into the back of my van for me

My first thought was to paint them with outdoor paint and put them in our new chicken house. But I am also considering just refinishing them. They are so sturdy and cute little baby chairs! The guy wanted to refinish them but his wife was just "not into it" I think he was trying to keep the peace by throwing them out and was happy they had a new home that wasn't the trash. They are just a little dirty, not bad at all.

I seen on pintrest where they cut a hole in the seat & put a flower pot in it & used it as a planter
