"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

A roo!? Crap. 3rd roo from the "pullet" bin. Lol
Thank you tho. Hope its a Cornish at least if its a roo :gig I'll let it grow out n see I suppose

I'm getting better at chick I D if it turns out to be a gold laced roo I might be interested. I would hang on for a while my 2 had two different looking combs I thought one was a roo turned out both are hens. Pam

I normally order my organic layer feed from Azure Standard (online), but I'm looking into local options. I live in Prairieville, La but travel to Gulfport and Biloxi nearly once a month. Where's this co-op you go to in Ms.?

400

Where are you located? I would love to get some gold laced wyandottes along with more silver laced, posibbly other colors wyandottes as well. Above is a pic of my silver: (don't know why it went to top)

I'm in slidell. I don't have a roo yet but I ordered some straight run in red laced. If angelis's turns out to be a roo then I would have gold. It's all in the future. Sooner if she turns out to have a roo my gold laced are laying. Pam

Welcome New EggsI
Angel the flowers are beautiful!
Love all the fuzzy butts.
Prim, I hope your friend is getting settled and is as peaceful as possible.
Jeff, STILL waiting on that guinea hunt...we were going to have t-shirts made...LOL...
"They" took my pictures away again, as well as, spellcheck...@$*^!!!!!

Spell check? I've been looking for that what does the icon look like? By the way I can't wait till you classes are over we missed you! Lol!

Does anyone know anywhere I can get a few hens that are already laying? May consider some that aren't quite laying. Looking for Silver and Gold Laced Wyandottes and a few RIR. Would like to get a Gold Laced Roo as well as a few Khaki Campbell ducks. I have a Dominic Roo that isn't quite crowing yet and a few other hens that should be laying in a few weeks that I am willing to trade. I can send pics of the ones I'm willing to part with if anyone is interested in them. One of the hens is a barred rock and the some of the others are red sex link, not a 100% sure of the other breeds. Near Catahoula, Lasalle, Concordia and Rapides Parishes. I travel through all of them pretty regularly.

Wow! You are almost as far south Louisiana as you can get! I can't really travel that far. About as far as I go is Baton Rouge to visit my mom.

You can sometimes get it relayed to where you will be.. You can pick up feed off of exit 46 on hwy 67 it's closer to Biloxi . Go on face book and get ms.feed train co-op you ask to join message Elaine Rieffer she has the feed. They also have organic food that is cheaper than whole foods. They. Order once a month but she usually has extra but that can go fast. You will have to get the administrator to add you to the co-op. But contact Elaine to reserve what you need.

Chicks can be shipped. I don't. Mind going to Baton Rouge I get clay and glaze there. But as I said it would be in the future. I may go check the feed store where I got my gold ones and see what they have. Pam
