Hi everyone! Busy week here. My baby just turned one, husband's family is in town from Florida, and I've been SUPER busy with my yarn. I was juuuuust about to catch up, then I got another order haha. That's definitely not a complaint. I love making things.
I've recently gotten into tea and I have become obsessed. Next spring I will be growing my own green tea and chamomile. Possibly also some lemon balm and mint. I've been spending a ton of time researching it lately, and have been experimenting with different brands.
My chickens love their new house now. It took a little time for them to get used to it. We originally had a board in there for a roost, but they refused to use it. Several nights in a row, they tried to go to sleep outside in the run on the big branch. Instead of inside of their house. We finally went into the woods near our house and pulled out a big branch. That night they went into their house without any complaints! We've been getting one egg per day from our RIR, Ariel. Our White Leghorn, Rapunzel, should start laying any time now. My husband gets the biggest kick out of what he calls their "football squats." It certainly makes it much easier to catch them!!!
And my mystery meal maker (Belle) does appear to be a Partridge Plymouth Rock. It has been confusing, because our EE (Rainbow) looks EXACTLY like her. The only difference is the leg color. My EE has green legs.
Our Dominique (Dottie) is sweet as ever. Very affectionate. You would never guess that she had leg problems as a chick.
That's my little recap. Goodnight, everyone! This chamomile tea is doing it's job!
Order paromie tea. It's graet Crakednut got me hooked my favorite is habiscus berry, Sleep with me, chamomile and lavender. Good to hear from you. Pam
