He is handsome!!! Do you still have him?

No,he finally got over the shyness and got to where he liked to rub on you or bump ya a lil bit(never hard),but when the horns started coming in it worried me.He accidentally stuck me a couple times rubbing. So I sent him up to the country with someone who had some other sheep.I had to let DH load him up cause I couldn't bear to watch.

NOTHING!!!!

Hey Missi, I know that you were asking about geese and some type of nesting box and then barrels came up, so it dawned on me that I have this little thing that I use for the geese and it's a nesting box that is made from a 55 gallon drum. The geese are trained to go in here and lay and set on their eggs but sometimes they lay where they want but for the most part, I know when they are about to start laying eggs, so I prepare their nesting box placing hay inside. It protects them from the rain and all other weather. Absolutely no leaks. So, when I find free 55 gallon drums, I get as many as I can to build more of these.

I used those alot before KAtrina for doghouses when I would get an abundance of rescues in.They worked great!!

Well,Ole Steve is irking the nerve again lately. This morning I wake up to find him IN one of the chicken pens with some of my babies. He stepped on a few of them, and let all the rest out. I don't know what his problem is lately. He will not eat feed. Not his anyway. But he will try his damndest to get ahold of the chicken or rabbit feeds. He has the wire all torn up on my coop door, the fence going into the duck pen,He almost had my PVC pen colapsed from trying to get in to the feed.THEN this evening for supper, hubby decides to fry the shrimp and stuff outside in the big fryer.Well, afterwards the handle was too hot to carry,so he figured he'd leave it set for a bit to cool.Well Steve's dumbazz goes up and starts to lick the freakin hot grease!!!! Well,he learned his lesson quick!
barnie.gif
Sooo looks like someone is gonna lose his manhood.I hadn't bothered doing that before because he's actually very sweet and good with the girls(kids). So I figured if it ain't broke don't fix it. He was good for almost a year, but now he's testing me...lol...

So I've gotten some tin up on top the coops for the birds.Got 2 of the doors on and the other 2 framed up waiting for wire and hanging tomorrow. Then all I need is to find some more tin( or buy some:barnie) I redid the door to open out, that way steve pushing on them won't knock them in again.

I am getting rid of a Showgirl rooster if anyone is interested.Otherwise I'm putting him on a plane to Cadjien's place...lol...

Here's the pic for the day.....

My grandson names all of my buffs "Frankie". Also, any cats that are orange are also named "Frankie". I don't know why but he's done this for years. He's 7 years old now.

I hatched some more guinea keets this week, and got a bit of a surprise. Can you guess which one?

I have NO CLUE where that white gene came from, but it's a cutie!
