Well, let's just say I hope it's my last purchase. I know that I DO NOT want any more chickens, ducks or turkeys. I'm burned out on chickens. I think the broody season has left a sour taste in my mouth. I have to try to break 12 broody hens this weekend. They are just setting in the nesting boxes ON NOTHING!!!! That's a dozen eggs each day that I am not getting because they want BABIES!!!
That is my next purchase. If I can find a pair close by, I am headed that way. I have been wanting some for the last 3 years.

It doesn't have a "wild" taste to me. You just know that you are getting a quality meat. If you like steak, well lamb is 3 steps above a nice steak. It has very little fat at all.

Here's the twins:
Winnie is the smaller one in the red bowtie - (Samamarie's Enter to Win, CGC, TD) and her brother Malcolm is in the gold bowtie
(Ch. Samamarie's Middle Man). Also a pic of them practicing their long sit-stays. They are a real joy in my life. They are 7 years old now, but "eternal puppies". I think you can tell what characters they are from these pics!
Winnie was the first born in the litter, but the runt. Mal was the largest of the litter, the middle one (hence his name). They are both on the small size for Cockers. Winnie was one of the top winning puppies in the country, but too small too compete as an adult, so when she turned 1 year old she was pulled from the conformation ring. Mal was shown extensively both in regular competition & on the specials circuit - if you ever watch Eukanuba's Tournament of Champions, you may have seen him on TV. They are from California where my good friend Steph has her Samamari kennel.
