Gee, did I kill this thread or what?
My NY friend made it through OK, only thing they are waiting on now is high tide to come in (low tide is at 4:00 ET) may cause some additional flooding but overall, made it OK!!! She called my Mom & cried & cried, just worn out from all the worry. This from the person who works on the 44th floor of a building about 2 blocks from where the World Trade Center stood, who rides subways every day that I would get lost forever on!
I sent her the link to the YouTube video of Leon Everette singing "Hurricane" since she is now "blooded".
