But I can tell you this, if you have any Orientals in your area, run an ad & you will sell them like candy! I don't know what they use them for, but my late aunt across the road from us had two trees & she got .25 cents a piece for those things -- there was a family-- they run a wok place in town (I forget if it's chinese or japanese or what - I don't like oriental food, either) & they would come out & buy all that she would sell them.
Maybe if you google a search for persimmon recipes? I wonder if you could dry them like apricots? sort of like a fruit leather. Maybe w/some cinnamon sprinkled on them. Of course, they'd still taste like persimmons, which is the whole problem w/them to start with, lol!
