Our rifle season opens Saturday. I have not bow hunted or black powder hunted this year which is highly unusual for me. My 6 year old wants to go but I'm afraid the .243 is still too strong for her. I'm tempted to let her shoot it, but good God if it left a mark somebody at school would call the authorities on me.
