"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

I just bought a few bags of the Homegrown Layer pellet and it was $11.99/bag. Much better than the $15.99 for Layena, and it is a nice smaller pellet that my chickens seem to prefer.

I have been feeding Nutrena Country Feeds. The Medicated crumbles until they hit 4 months of age then I switch them over to the Layer feed. The crumbles are 18% and the layer feed is 16%. Anyone have any thoughts on this feed? I've not had any problems, my birds all look nice and healthy and I usually get 9 eggs a day from 10 birds I have that are laying. All the eggs look great with nice hard shells....

Thoughts?????

Hey guys....take a look at these crazy looking birds! These are some of the birds that I hatched on Thanksgiving.....

They are quickly becoming some of my favorite birds to show people when they come over.


And these are two of the German NH's that I also hatched on Thanksgiving...
