"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

Thanks for the additional info on the coots. Those babies are wild, aren't they? What colorful heads they have!

Oh yea, they are soooooooooo cute!!!! I'll be looking out more for them when I pass by the crawfish ponds.

Anytime, I see an unusual species, I always take pics, so now I will post pics as I see unusual creatures, so you all can tell me what it is. :thumbsup

Can anyone recommend a HIGH powered pellet gun that I can buy to use on these darn opossums that are climbing in my trees? :smack I need something to get them out of the trees and on the ground. And I can take it from there once they touch the ground.

Thanks Mr. Know It All, oops, I mean Mike. :lau

I will look for that Ruger. I had 2 opossums in the tree last night and they would NOT climb down. And I like the nice and quite. No one will be able to hear me. :D

I got home from work today , and found this little guy in the brooder pen. It looks like they decided to beat up on him pretty good. I took him out, and put him with the day old chicks, and everyone seems to be doing great. Anybody have any suggestion as to what to put on it? It doesn't look infected, but is a pretty big scab.

I would spray some blue kote on it so they don't pick at the wound. Glad you found him in time.
