Catching a baby guinea is like catching a fish under water with your hands.

I feel your pain. We had one get out last weekend & stay out all night long, squalling in the hedge. We chased it & chased it & it would get quiet & hide & was perfectly camoflouged. I finally left it to the mercy of the outside cats & varmits & went to bed. The next morning it was under the brooder yelling at the rest inside. I walked up & lifted part of the netting I put over the cage at night & it ran into it & got tangled up so I was able to finally catch it & put it back in w/the rest.

Those little buggers are quick, very quick!

Goslings are beautiful!!!

So are the pigeons!

The same thing happened to me on my 1st attempt to move them outside and 1 ran away. I threw my hands up and went inside for the night. I said whatever happens just happens. The next day it was running along the edge of the adult guinea pen trying to get in with the others. I opened the door and let him in and they tore his butt UP! I bet he never makes that mistake again. :gig I call it payback for giving me a headache.
