Lounging in the sun

My favorite thing about my chickens is when the weather turns cold and we let them free range the yard. Their favorite place on a sunny day is right outside our south facing deck, just lounging in the sun. We love to watch them out the window. Sometimes I feel like I could sit there all day they are so cute!

My favorite thing to do is watch chicken TV!!! My girls do not free-range so I have one of my adirondack chairs out there under a tree and I literally can sit there for hours watching their silly behaviors. They can be so silly at times!

I love watching my chickens. Some days when my grandparents come over we all just sit outside and watch the chickens and they do some pretty funny stuff.
