Thanks! Let them out for free range and found out that Speckles and Blau (2 roosters) had split the flock between them. Blau decided his girls were not going outside today (but he could)
Speckles was preoccupied with “posing” for Mr Blue who was in the dog crate so there would not be chaos for the girls. I finally had to put Blau in the chicken house and lock him in so his girls could forage.
Really! So then the more timid girls came out and had some fun.
Lucia who almost died (2nd shipment) has no fear whatsoever because she was handled several times a day 24/7 for 3 weeks, ended up over the fence. Not clipping their wings, I will herd them back. There are coyotes in our neighborhood and last week a mountain lion 1 mile away. So they need anything Mother Nature gave them.

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
Where have you advertised the boys? I have had good success rehoming cockerels by advertising them on local and regional FB poultry groups and Craigslist.

Craigslist, and Next door. A werk after. Posted my guys, 50 other people put their roosters on there. SO
MUCH FOR THAT IDEA!
I went to my feed store and asked if they could take Mr Blue and sell him and take a commission (not this second). I asked if I went to the car and came back it would be a different second. Bonny’s helper just laughed.
I tried trading 2-3 of the boys for 1-2 hens. No go.
They will probably end up in someone’s freezer. Bots too bad because the black one & white one are whiting blue stock. Mr speckles I have no clue what he is but he has white ears so he must be a mix. Looks like a meat or dual purpose bird.
