Low carb (very very low carb)

I started my low carb diet this weekend. In fact today, I spent most of the afternoon cooking. I went to my local organic market where I get grass fed and free range meats, and got a 5 pound bag of grass fed ground beef. I made 5 1 pound meat loaves, with eggs, chopped onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, tomato sauce. I baked them, cooled them down, wrapped them and put them in the freezer.

Interestingly enough, I didnt have to take an afternoon nap; I didnt have that sinking, cant keep my eyes open moment.

I'm so glad I came across this post!! I have been kicking around the whole "Low Carb" diet thing for the last couple of weeks especially since I see how well it works for my in-laws. I know there are a few big time no-no's that I shouldn't eat. Bread, potatoes, processed sugar, beer (danggit! That ones gonna be tough!). Would "Sugar in the Raw" be okay or a no-no? I love my morning coffee and use about 2 small teaspoons per cup. 3 cups of coffee every morning. No coffee in the morning makes mommy very, very unwell.
